Aldo is a Ph.D. student in Physics at UTSA. A native Mexican, he moved to the USA to pursue his bachelor's in physics at UTSA. He performed some research involving computational and experimental methods during his undergraduate studies.
His research interests range from molecular dynamic simulations of chlorophyll molecules to the fabrication of nanomaterials such as quantum dots.
Aldo's current research is focused on Polymer-Stabilized Liquid-Liquid Interfaces by multi-block copolymers and molecular brush polymers.
On his free time, he is a Mexican folklore musician, forming part of UTSA's Mariachi performance ensemble.
