Digital learning spaces play a decisive role in modern adult education, particularly when they combine accessibility, practical resources, and European collaboration. Within the Erasmus+ KA210-ADU project CommUnity, the digital platform serves as the central online space where knowledge, tools, and project results are brought together in a structured and accessible format.
The CommUnity platform is publicly available and designed as an open educational resource for adult entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, educators, and community stakeholders. Developed under the coordination of The Square Dot team in collaboration with 7HUB and CHARGE AS, the platform reflects the transnational cooperation at the heart of the project.
The website presents the project’s objectives, partnership structure, and activities in a clear and user-friendly manner. Visitors can explore the rationale behind CommUnity, understand how community welfare is linked to entrepreneurship, and follow the development of project outputs. The platform functions as a digital information hub where stakeholders can access updates, training materials, and results emerging from the two main project activities: the development of the training platform and interactive mapping research, and the implementation of workshops, business welfare plans, and ideathons.
Rather than serving only as a repository, the platform supports transparency and dissemination. It ensures that adult education professionals and entrepreneurs across Europe can follow the project’s progress and access materials designed to promote socially responsible and sustainable business practices. In doing so, it strengthens the project’s alignment with Erasmus+ priorities related to civic engagement, high-quality adult learning, and inclusive participation.
Importantly, the digital platform contributes to the sustainability of the CommUnity initiative. By centralising information and resources in one accessible space, it guarantees that project outcomes remain available beyond the funding period. Adult learners, trainers, and community leaders can continue to draw inspiration from the shared methodologies and welfare-oriented entrepreneurship approaches developed throughout the project’s implementation.
Through this online presence, CommUnity reinforces the idea that digital tools in adult education are not merely technical additions, but strategic instruments for inclusion, knowledge transfer, and long-term European cooperation.Â
