The 2nd Open Meeting for citizens is set for Thursday, 13th of February, at 5:30 PM at the Auditorium of the ‘Piero Bargellini’ Library in San Piero a Sieve. The premiere of the video of 10th September 2024 will be shown at the event.

In concomitance with the meeting, the premiere of the video by the 10th September Committee on the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation, directed by Ivan Poggi, will be available on YT from 7 PM. 

Two events organised jointly with Bikeboobs, Capitolo 7 and the ANPI Mugello. A bike ride between San Piero a Sieve and Galliano and a bookshop evening on the themes of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Italy.

Official celebrations for the 80th Anniversary of the Liberation of Italy: ceremonies at the Remembrance Park and the 2nd edition of the Stortellata Resistente in Villa Adami, with tortelli and live music by Francesco Fuligni.

Hike organised by the Ellera Polcanto between Tassaia and Monte Senario to explore our territory together and remember local stories related to the Second World War.

"From the birth of fascism to the Liberation of San Piero a Sieve: the memories of a village" from 10th September to 10th November, at the Oratorio della Compagnia in San Piero a Sieve, free entrance.

On 21st September, the exhibition hosted in the Oratory of the Compagnia and the related catalogue will be presented at the presentation with speeches by the members of the committee.

On 12th October, the Oratorio della Compagnia will host the presentation of the book edited by F. Bertini, A. Gasparrini and A. Margheri on Mugello society and politics from WW1 to Fascism.

On 2nd November, in the Oratorio of the Compagnia, Riccardo Nencini will present, with Massimo Biagioni, the latest books published on Giacomo Matteotti on the centenary of his death.
