Polygonaceae

It's not too hard to pick out a member of Polygonaceae. They all have those bunches of distinctive little flowers. What's hard is figuring out what member it is. A lot of the plants look roughly the same as others, but have subtle differences. Differences that are just enough to get them their own genus or species, but not enough to easily tell them apart.

Then there's the whole Polygonaceae thing. After collecting a lot of genetic data about the various plants in the family, biologists decided they weren't divided up right. So they rearranged things.
