This site aims to be a community research repository, not just an advocacy page. Every statistic and claim on this site should trace back to one of these sources. We link directly to primary sources wherever possible.

RESEARCH ON PROPERTY VALUES AND 765-kV DESIGN
Peer-reviewed and technical literature on transmission-line property value effects and 765-kV corona/audible-noise design exists in journals such as Energy Policy, the Journal of Housing Economics, and the International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis, and in technical reports such as those indexed by the U.S. Department of Energy's OSTI.gov. We are compiling a verified, linked list of specific articles for this page - findings from any individual study apply to the market and project studied, and should not be presented as a guaranteed BECI-specific outcome.
OTHER WISCONSIN COMMUNITY ORGANIZING
Town of Harmony has published information on the proposed 765-kV corridor and a local resolution. We treat this and other outside groups' materials (such as No 765 Line) as leads for further research, not as independent verification, and we fact-check before republishing anything from them.
A NOTE ON THIS DOSSIER
Much of the research underlying this site began as a community working document (the "Cold Spring BECI Existing-Corridor Briefing" and related materials). Facts drawn from that internal research are being independently verified against primary sources before appearing on this public site; where verification is still in progress, the relevant page says so.
