After learning about graphic design in my 10th grade year of high school, I kept wanting to try more just in case one of my areas of work would fall through. So one of my backup options was graphic design.

The selected primary design for the logo of the MIPA Summer Journalism Workshop 2025. To be honest, I designed this and I thought it was too weak of a design. It needed something more. More color, more texture, more meaning. After I learned that my first draft of this logo won, they merged it with a color palette from another contestant's design. Now it looks amazing and invokes the details needed to give this design purpose

Founded in the early 2000s, this general news show has been Saline High School's main weekly informative newscast by students, for students. During the 2023-2024 school year, I created all graphics for the show, including the logo above.

Saline High School eSports, founded in June 2023, is a community-education led program by Mr. Steve Vasiloff. I submitted this design in early April 2023 as the official logo.

Milan Area Schools Redesign
A redesign that is a part of the Consortium Series Rebrand. One of my most proud creations made in my own free time. Funny story, Milan Area Schools dropped its Native American spear logo in 2013, but still kept the name "Big Red" as the mascot. The mascot was changed to a bird. But after 2020, the logo was used less by student run organizations in the district and replaced with the Milan Crooked tree instead. I created a new design for the "Big Red" bird. But to be honest, "Milan Falcons" rolls off the tongue better.

I never would have thought that design would be a standout attribute in my high school career. It always was something extra that I would use time to time for classes and other people. I applied to be the sole Editor-In-Chief thinking that I wouldn't really need to use design that much, until my adviser came up to me and asked if I could be the Editor-In-Chief of Design instead, focusing on graphical, layout, and cover design. I agreed thinking that this so called "extra hobby" would come in handy for the next school year. I'm pretty sure that it is more than evident that it has come in handy. And with the content I have made, I believe that this has drew an larger audience in for the content that I have produced, or rather, designed.
