The Kings Privy Council

The King's privy council is an assembly of those who hold peerage titles as well as senior members of the royal family and anyone else invited to sit on the council by personal invitation from the King.

The privy council sits to address matters of great importance to the Kingdom, such as reviewing new legislation, discussing issues such as national defence and more.

The privy council meets on a semi-regular basis and can be summoned at any moment by the King.

Each peerage title holder has a responsibility to represent the people of their titled region on the council and can bring regional issues of importance to the attention of the council and the King directly.

Members of the council are excluded from running for parliament or any other public office as they already hold a position of power within the Kingdom.

Those who gain a seat on the privy council have it for life, unless either the King decides to expel them from the council or they decide to step down.
