Chivalric Orders

The Chivalric Orders of the Kingdom are orders of knighthood created by the Monarch to honour those who have provided services beyond that which could be expected to the Kingdom, Crown or Monarch personally.

Such services include but are not limited to aiding in the cultural development of the nation in a significant way, performing acts of charity, aiding in the development of the arts and aiding the develpment of the nation on both a national and international level.

The Monarch is the head of each order and thus holds a position in each.

Each order has its own ranks and honours that they bestow upon those who they accept into their ranks.

Appointments to the orders are made at the Monarchs discretion, similarly the Monarch can revoke an appointment. Some of the orders accept suggestions for those who should be appointed but the final choice is that of the Monarch.

The only order that holds an official motto is the Order of Iacobus Rex. The motto of this order is "Apud gladium servimus coronam" which is latin for "With the sword we serve the crown"
