Classic Model Trains LLC passenger cars are available in sets of 5 cars, each car being a different design. First is the 4-door baggage car, also sometimes used as a Railway Post Office car. Next is the combination baggage and saloon car, usually called a Club or Buffet car. These two cars are new designs by CMT LLC. Next is the Dining car, with the large arch-top windows at each table; this is a continuation of Charlie Wood's CMT passenger car style from 1978. The Coach car follows, with the smaller square windows at each seat; these cars were variously referred to as Coach, Parlor, or Chair cars. This square-window design brings back Fred Mill's CMC coach design from the early 1970's. Finally, the Observation car with its rear lounge section, with single-pane windows and outside observation deck. 

All CMT passenger cars come with interior lighting installed.

You will find that the end panels on the cars also vary on the new CMT LLC cars: door only for the baggage sections; door with flanking windows for cars with a center aisle; and the offset door with picture window for the observation lounge.
