Reviewing my progress over the last three years has helped me identify my current strengths and weaknesses, and further define the path I feel I am on. It was not easy to summarise my work in this period, or to select just three CPD activities.

Firstly, I intend to work through my apprenticeship and use AI to push the boundaries of what is possible for my department. Along with writing and sharing more programs to assist with tasks, I would like to make use of machine learning to analyse and gain insights from data. I am currently working on a way to use a machine learning 'computer vision' process to automatically recognise the thousands of images used in our study materials and sort them into categories (e.g. photograph, diagram, screenshot). This will help as we continue enhancing the accessibility of our materials.

Secondly, I would like to expand my professional certifications. I am considering building on my recent FHEA award by applying for SFHEA status within the next three years. I may consider applying for SCMALT as well.

Finally, I intend to keep updating my breadth of knowledge and skills relating to learning design and technology. I still like playing with authoring tools, so I would like to make better use of my Articulate 360 licence - I have used Storyline for many years but would like to explore functionality in other parts of the suite that I haven't had a chance to play with.
