Cambridge Lunatic Society

In between fighting, characters have complicated and messy real lives. In game, you mostly deal with these on a Friday evening, at Cambridge Lunatic Society meetings.

On Friday nights, the group has a regular booking of the Unitarian Church Hall under the name “Cambridge Lunatic Society”, a quirky costume and makeup group that is a cover for your real activities. Unfortunately, you can’t all be in there at once because you all have enhanced senses of smell and also some of you smell pretty bad, so you tend to expand into the surroundings.

The Interactive channels in the Discord server will represent various places in and around the UCH, as well as group chats you have for when your supernaturally sensitive nose just really isn’t feeling it.

Society members will also go out and fix problems on Fridays - these will be problems affecting Cambridge and places geographically near, mostly affecting 'Touchstones' - people that are important to various members of the society, whose lives they have somehow made trouble in. These will be represented by mini tabletop sessions you run for each other, or ask someone with the GM role to facilitate.

Important note: we are avoiding any overlap of actual named people between this setting and the real world. Title overlaps, such as the Custodian of the Corpus Chronophage Clock, are acceptable.
