Supporting distressed students

The Supporting Students In Distress Guide aims to help all staff respond to students who are struggling to cope.

The Guide offers clear, practical advice on how to help students in distress - situations that any of us may encounter and that we know can be challenging. We hope it will help you to feel more supported in the care that you already show for our students.

The resource has been created by the Student Mental Health Team and informed by the experiences shared by numerous colleagues they have worked closely with in supporting our students, across the College.
