What we do

Membership Criteria for Peer Facilitators in the BS Information Technology Organization:

Eligibility Requirements

Membership is open to bona fide BS Information Technology students who exhibit good moral character and maintain a satisfactory scholastic standing.

Application Process

Interested students must complete and submit an official application form (Download here) to the Guidance and Counseling Office, located in the College of Information Technology building.

Selection Process

Applicants are required to undergo a thorough selection process, which includes an interview, personality testing, and basic peer counseling training. This process aims to identify individuals who possess the necessary qualities and aptitude to be effective peer facilitators.

Interview

During the interview, applicants will have the opportunity to express their motivations for joining the organization, share their previous experiences (if any), and discuss their understanding of the peer facilitator role.

Personality Testing

Personality testing will help evaluate the applicants' interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and compatibility with the principles of peer facilitation.

Basic Peer Counseling Training

Successful applicants will undergo essential peer counseling training, equipping them with the fundamental skills required to provide effective support and guidance to their fellow students.

Welcome Aboard: Embracing New CPC Members

After fulfilling all the requirements, applicants who have successfully completed the selection process will be warmly welcomed as new members of the organization.
