COVID Testing & Treatment

UC testing in clinic only.

Testing at Children's (pts less than 14 y/o): Place order in UC epic, change to LAB collect, print order and fax to Children's, have parent wait 2 hours or place order in Children's Epic. Parent should then call Scheduling Center at 513-517-2670 (7:30 am-5 pm M-F) OR they can schedule at https://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/c/clinical-labs/schedule Reportedly, walk-ins are ok if no known exposure.

As of 12/4/23. - 

• UC: No longer requiring testing for symptoms or exposures. However, if you decide to test and test positive, you will need to stay out for 5 days and return on day 6 if your rapid test is negative (otherwise day 11) and ensure you mask through day 10. You will also need to send proof of your test and the following information toEmployee Health & Safety: 

  • Employee name

  • Employee ID number

  • Date of symptom onset

  • Date of positive test

• CCHMC: Reach out to employee health for guidance (803-SAFE) with respiratory symptoms for guidance on COVID testing as well any needed exclusion from work.
