I learned a lot from the two projects in Unit 5. The first project was the emerging technology presentation. Boy oh boy, did I get my butt kicked on this one. I first had to learn what a PPTX file was to submit the project correctly. I originally submitted my project as a Google Slides presentation. This was not the correct format. I then submitted it as a PPTX; however, I used my Google Slides presentation film and split it up into different parts and pasted it onto the PPTX. I later learned this was not the correct format as well. I now have to re-film the entire presentation on my PPTX slides and use no more film content from my Google Slides presentation. Making this project was a fun process, but I learned that in the future I need to pay closer attention to the submission instructions so that I don't run into this problem again.
I very much enjoyed this project. At first, I was very nervous about not finding a partner. I had reached out on the discussion page, and to my disappointment, I did not hear anything from anyone for a couple of days. I was panicking and was sure that I was not going to find a partner. Then, to my surprise, someone reached out to me, and I was astonished. We got to work very quickly, and the chemistry was perfect. We were getting things done simultaneously on a perfect level. I am so thankful for my partner, and it was a pleasure working with them. I also learned so much about two different countries as well. I am Hispanic myself, and to learn about two new Hispanic countries was very cool. I learned new geographic information during this time, as well as to trust the process, and that everything will be ok, I just need to have more patience.
