Event Details

   1. General Rules 

• Matches will be played according to standard Carrom rules. 

• The referee’s and organizers’ decisions will be final and binding. 

• All players must maintain discipline and sportsmanship. 

2. Eligibility 

• Players must carry a valid college ID card. 

3. Match Format 

• Matches will be played in  Doubles (Team of two)

• The tournament format (Knockout / League) will be announced before the event. 

• Toss will decide the break and choice of colour. 

4. Game Rules 

• Strikes must be played using only one finger with the striker. 

• Both feet must remain inside the baseline while striking. 

• Pocketing the striker is considered a foul. 

• The queen must be covered to score. 

5. Fouls 

• Pocketing the striker 

• Double strikes 

• Touching coins or striker with hand or body 

• Any illegal or unfair play 

Penalty will be applied as per referee’s decision. 

6. Scoring 

• Scoring will follow standard Carrom rules. 

• A board ends when all coins of one player/team are pocketed with the queen covered. 

7. Time Limit 

• Each match may have a fixed time limit, as announced by the organizers. 

• If time expires, the winner will be decided on points scored. 

8. Conduct 

• Misbehaviour, arguments, or rule violations may lead to warning or disqualification. 

9. Amendments 

• The organizers reserve the right to change rules if required.
