1. Data Collection and Usage AtlasDiary requires access to your device's location services to function as intended. The app requests both 'When In Use' and 'Always' authorisation to continuously record your daily track in the background whilst you travel. This location data is used exclusively to plot your route and calculate the areas where you have lingered or spent significant time.
2. Data Storage and Security Your privacy is paramount. All location data recorded by AtlasDiary is stored locally on your device using standard Apple frameworks (UserDefaults). The app does not transmit, share, or upload your location history to any external servers or third-party analytics services.
3. Photo Library Access To allow you to export and save visual summaries of your daily routes, AtlasDiary requests 'Add Only' access to your device's Photo Library. This permission is used strictly to save generated map snapshots directly to your camera roll.
4. User Control and Data Deletion You maintain full control over your data. Within the 'Location History' section of the application, you can view your recorded tracks grouped by day and permanently delete data for any specific day, or clear all recorded data entirely.
We may update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or Apple’s App Store guidelines. We will notify you of any significant changes via an in-app update notice or via our website.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding this policy or the data security of AtlasDiary, please do not hesitate to contact the developer.
