Hello! I am Crystal Hoofe.  

Welcome and Thank You for viewing my professional portfolio.  

In December 2023, I will complete the Special Education Licensure Only Program at Trinity Christian College to earn an initial Professional Educator’s License from the State of Illinois.  Previously, I graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.

Currently, I am employed with South Holland School District 151 at Coolidge Middle School.  I have served the students, parents, school, and district for ten years as a substitute teacher, mentor, and advocate. I love children of all ages! It is my passion to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to use the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Intelligence plus character, that is the true goal of education” as the foundation of every activity and conversation in the classroom.

Personally, I am blessed to be married with two children.  I enjoy spending time with my family, church family, and friends. Then, exercising and traveling provides the perfect balance for relaxation.
