2026 Season Registration opens on April 1st
The Future of Cycling is Female:
There is a common misconception that mountain biking is just for boys, but at the Georgia Cycling Association and Cherokee Bluff, our female riders are the true rock stars of the trail. While girls made up 18.5% of the Georgia Cycling enrollment in 2023, we are on a mission to increase that participation to 30% by the 2026 season through dedicated "Girls Ride" initiatives.

Empowerment on Two Wheels:
Statistics show that girls are often less likely to participate in organized sports than boys. We are changing that narrative by providing a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. We believe mountain biking does more than just improve cardiovascular and muscular health—it builds the mental mid-set, confidence, and independence girls need to succeed in sport and in life.
The Cherokee Bluff Difference:
At Cherokee Bluff, we fully embrace the Georgia Cycling Association vision of female empowerment. We are proud to have had a strong roster of seasoned female riders and coaches. This ensures your daughter is supported by like-minded mentors who understand her unique needs and goals.
Integrated Training: During practice, boys and girls train together. Our female riders consistently prove their strength, often outperforming many of the boys on the team.
Dedicated Support: For the comfort and security of our athletes, all ride groups are accompanied by at least one female coach at all times.
Fair Competition: While training is integrated, race day features dedicated female categories where girls compete on the same challenging courses as the boys.
