Chemical City EMS responds to all medical related calls at any time of the day. We are able to provide medical assistance to injured citizens, water rescues, all-terrain rescues (ex: Mount Chiliad), as well as assist the police department with stabilizing suspects of crime.
The role of the EMS Overseer is to Oversee all Policies and implement new changes. The Overseer will Oversee the overall final decision in department matters such as Policy changes as well as disciplinary decisions.
The role of the EMS Medical Director is to oversee all personnel and decisions made for the department as an Admin Member. The Director will make the overall final decision in department matters such as Policy changes as well as disciplinary decisions. It is the Director's role to be the overall leader of the department and the one the members can trust to do their job to the best of their ability. It is the Director that the members should look to for overall guidance involved in Department operations, and handle more of an oversight over the entire department.
The role of the EMS Deputy Medical Director is to assist the Medical Director in overseeing all personnel and decisions made for the department as an Admin Member. The Deputy Director will assist in department matters such as Policy changes as well as disciplinary decisions. It is the Deputy Director's role to be a leader of the department and the one the members can trust to do their job to the best of their ability. It is the Deputy Director that the members should look to for overall guidance involved in Department operations, and handle more of an oversight over the entire department.
The role of the EMS Assistant Medical Director is to assist the Deputy Medical Director in overseeing all personnel and decisions made for the department as an Admin Member. The Assistant Director will be held responsible for accepting applications for perspective employees through the main Chemical Discord. They will also be responsible for interviewing, hiring, firing and promoting employees of the EMS department. The Assistant director will be responsible for assisting in department matters such as Policy changes as well as disciplinary decisions. They will be responsible for overseeing all roles below them and holding each position responsible for their roles.
The role of the EMS Commander is to act as the highest level of Sub-Command staff and is to complete the role of a Senior Staff member. They will be dealing with complaints and will be the first point of contact in the EMS Chain of Command. The Commander will help with implementing Policies and Procedures of the department as well as be a crucial role in the day-to-day operations by taking command of scenes and giving input on new policies for the department. The Commander should be someone that the members of the department can look to for guidance and leadership in scenes and in dealing with issues in- and out- of-game.
The role of the EMS Captain is to complete the role of a Senior Staff member. being able to deal with complaints and be the first point of contact in the EMS Chain of Command. The Captain will help with implementing Policies and Procedures of the department as well as be a crucial role in the day-to-day operations by taking command of scenes and giving input on new policies for the department. The Captain should be someone that the members of the department can look to for guidance and leadership in scenes and in dealing with issues in- and out- of-game.
The role of the EMS Lieutenant is to complete the role of a Staff member, being able to deal with complaints and be the first point of contact in the EMS Chain of Command. The Lieutenant will help with enforcing and bringing ideas for Policies and Procedures of the department as well as be a crucial role in the day-to-day operations by responding to calls and assisting the Scene Commander and, when needed to, take over Scene Command. The Lieutenant will be responsible for making sure personnel are following the rules and regulations within the department.
In the Role of EMS you are a front line service which must remain up to date with rules and regulations. It is your responsibility to undertake calls that have been set out to you by your command team. When on scenes it is your role to assess the situation, keep away from any danger, and save lives. You must be able to act fast as we are against the clock. Keep your vehicle in good working order (including cleanliness).
