This website serves as a compilation of WebAR resources for both students and educators so that WebAR is more commonly adopted in teaching and learning.
Some of you may have realized that the icon for this website is actually a skeletal formula for an organic compound, [1.1.1]propellane. However, it would be difficult for a pair of untrained eyes to be able to visualize the 3D structure of the logo. A 3D model of the logo is included to better help you visualize this.
The sense of realization when you are manipulating the 3D model would be what students would experiencing as they make sense of the 2D diagrams that teachers include in worksheets and notes. This adds another dimension to the students' understanding and helps to develop their spatial awareness.
Many other interactive WebAR experiences are still being developed and will be updated from time to time, feel free to reach out to me via the contact form if you have any suggestions or feedback. Enjoy! =)
