Purpose: Continue to develop effective member and senior leaders committed to the C.A.R. Mission and enhance the C.A.R. experience for all participants. Create leadership programs and activities accessible to members and seniors at all levels of C.A.R.
Program: Encourage members of all ages to become “Lothrop Leaders” and participate in the inaugural year of our leadership development program.
Our founder, Harriett Lothrop believed “that the hope of this country is with her youth” and that “good citizens cannot be made suddenly, they must grow.” To encourage this growth among our members, the National Society introduces the Lothrop Leaders program. This individual leadership development program, for all ages, aims to supplement the programs and work of our societies to grow good citizens.
