Conservation Committee

Purpose: To build awareness about the importance of protecting natural resources and to encourage active participation with sustainable, responsible conservation practices.

Program: Make a positive impact on the environment and create a lasting Legacy of conservation and responsibility for future generations.

Ideas for possible activities:

1. Work with your community to organize local clean-up projects to help protect parks, waterways, and community spaces.

2. Reduce waste by promoting reusable items and environmentally friendly habits and organize recycling or donation drives to reduce landfill waste.

3. Share conservation awareness through social media, newsletters, and community outreach.

4. Plan educational programs focused on natural resources and environmental issues, such as the impact of technology on our natural resources.

5. Make society meetings more environmentally friendly by reducing paper use, recycling supplies, and using reusable materials when possible.

These are just SOME ideas for possible activities for this contest. We encourage and would like to see you create something new and exciting with your society for your submission.
