Welcome!
I am a Tenured Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UFMG (Brazil) since 2019, and Academic Coordinator of the OBMEP PIC program (MG01 region).
My research program investigates the geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves on projective varieties, with an emphasis on their global structure, including the description of irreducible components, their geometry, and decomposition phenomena.
A central part of my work consists of constructing and identifying new irreducible components of moduli spaces, as well as understanding their geometric properties and associated invariants, exploring interactions with Lefschetz-type properties and related algebraic structures.
More recently, I have been extending this line of research to the setting of algebraic supergeometry, studying vector bundles and moduli spaces on supervarieties, with the aim of establishing geometric foundations and new structural correspondences in this context, including connections with motivations from theoretical physics.
A complete list of publications is available here.
I supervise Ph.D. and Master’s students in algebraic geometry, particularly in moduli spaces, sheaf theory, and supergeometry.
Students interested in working with me are encouraged to develop a solid background in algebra and to take graduate courses in Algebraic Geometry and Commutative Algebra.
Feel free to get in touch during or after these courses to discuss possible research directions.
I obtained my Bachelor's degree (2010–2014) and Ph.D. (2014–2019) in Mathematics from UNICAMP (Campinas-Brazil), including a visiting Ph.D. period at the Universitat de Barcelona (Barcelona-Spain).
I was a postdoctoral researcher at IME–USP(São Paulo-Brazil) in 2019.
From 2024 to 2025, I was on sabbatical leave at SISSA (Trieste-Italy).
You can find me at ResearchGate, Google Scholar and ArXiv.
