"Instagram" Biography Research Project

I developed a research project to guide students in locating information about a significant figure in Texas history and creating pseudo Instagram profile for that individual. I utilized Google Classroom for distributing, giving feedback and collecting each student's project.

I arranged a library Skype visit with young author Jake Marcionette (@jakemarcionette) through the Penguin.com website.

I advocate for the use of Google Classroom to collaborate with teachers in creating paperless, flipped learning experiences for students. I support educators in implementing this tool in the classroom and integrating it into the library curriculum. Here is an example of a Science activity where students can edit their own copy in Google Classroom to complete the interactive.

I planned and hosted a May the 4th STAR WARS themed day where students worked in teams to build a droid.
