This convention is a great opportunity for our dancers to take classes from industry professionals from around the country in a fun, challenging, and uplifting environment. Be on the lookout for information on how to register.
Competitions are typically all day and/or all weekend, including late Sunday evening. The directors do not have any control over when dances are scheduled. We ask that you leave the entire weekend free for contest weekends. We typically receive the performance schedule for the competition the week of the event.
This is an event where friends and family get to come and see this year’s company pieces for the first time to launch our season. This is a great time of celebration and preparation as our competitive dancers walk in to their competition season. This event will take place in January.
This mandatory intensive is the time in which we set as much content as possible on the dancers to kick off the season and set us up for a successful year.
Intensives will take place over the course of two weeks.
June 23rd - June 28th AND July 21st - July 26th.
We have done our best to eliminate weekend rehearsals for those who would like to do additional dances but are worried about the extra commitment. Company members may be asked to attend a Saturday rehearsal prior to performances/competitions to ensure adequate preparation. These extra rehearsals are included in your company tuition and are typically scheduled in the morning. These dates will be given to you at the start of the season.
All company members will have one weekend per month which has zero company requirements. This will help ensure that members are allowed time to rest, catch up on other responsibilities, spend time with their families, etc. It may not be the same weekend each month, but one weekend will be allocated as a "holiday" weekend.
