Did your arm become crooked due to a childhood fracture?
Has it been bent since birth due to a congenital condition?
Even arms that have been deformed for over 50 years can be corrected with surgery.
Surgery is performed under brachial plexus anesthesia with sedation.
Each arm takes 1 hour to operate.
We use a minimally invasive technique.
A 1-week hospital stay is required.
During the procedure, an incision is made on the distal upper arm, and the distal humerus is osteotomized according to a pre-planned correction angle. The plate and screws are used to stabilize the bone. All implants are biocompatible, fully sterilized, and safe for the body, and they can usually be removed safely about 1 year after surgery.
No cast is required after surgery.
Pain is generally mild, and you can move your arm the next day.

If there is no wound infection, you can begin showering after 2 weeks.
You may send monthly X-rays via email (drahn818@naver.com) for remote follow-up.
Once the bone is fully healed, the metal implant can be safely removed, improving comfort and mobility.
Rehabilitation is simple and can be done at home, focusing on daily exercises that improve joint mobility and stretching.
If home rehab isn't possible, you may go to a local rehabilitation center.
Light daily life takes 1~2 weeks, and physical activities are available in 3~6 months.
Once the bone is fully united, all exercises (swimming, basketball, weightlifting, etc.) are possible.
This is a relatively safe surgery, but rare complications can include:
Transient Nerve injury, Nonunion, Implant failure...
