Because CHNLA is a self-managed, not-for-profit corportation with a revolving leadership, it is important that management policies, operations and procedures are generally known.
This Operations Manual was written to provide guidance to new and existing association leaders. Whereas this handbook will be overly detailed for the typical Member, its transparency helps to illustrate to our membership how the association is run.
Guidelines, policies and procedures in this handbook are based on Bylaws 2.0, but are not a repeat of them. The Bylaws can easily be accessed via another page.
Just as the original 1911 edition of Boy Scout Handbook was, this is considered a living document where updates will be made to reflect current operations.
Comments from the membership are welcomed.
