Collaborations

In December of 2018, the Conservation Crew Club went to the Algae AquaCulture Technology Inc. The purpose of the trip was to learn about new types of algae based fertilizer.

In 2019 the Conservation Crew collaborated with the Columbia Falls City Hall staff to collect and measure the amount of trash they produce each day.

The Sustainable Systems class visited the Research Station in November 2019. The class learned about waste water treatment and water quality.

Sustainable Systems visited the Columbia Falls Waste Water Treatment Plant to finish off our water unit. We toured the facility and learned how water is treated before heading into the river.

In the fall of 2021, the Crew was invited to set up a booth at the Wildlife Film Festival, which was sponsored by the Academic Endowment Program.

The Conservation Crew donated fresh greens from the tower gardens to the Weekend Backpack Program in the spring of 2022.
