Central HS JROTC offers one program uniquely within the PUHSD which is Archery. The National Archery in the Schools Program is an in-school program aimed at improving educational performance among students in grades 4th – 12th. Through it, students are learning focus, self-control, discipline, patience, and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life. We practice safety in everything we do, so we require cadets to take a verbal and written test before they can start shooting. Both instructors are certified coaches, so you can trust your cadet is in good hands.
