An Important note about the Diocesan Constitution and Bishop's Handbook.
Constitution
Prior to the onset of COVID 19 our Diocese had begun a process of revising the Constitution. The Bishop's Handbook would have been revised after the completion of the Constitution Revision process. The revision was seen as essential before COVID as we became focused and intentional in our study of dramatic change in the Church. Through our commitment to being sustainable and missional,we knew that the Constitution may not serve the intricacies of some tough and brave decisions we needed to make. For that reason, the Constitution was placed in abeyance. it still has authority, but the Diocesan Executive and Synod Office have been given room for new formations, partnerships, and decision making within the councils of the Church.
The Bishop's HandBook
The Bishop's Handbook has received editing from our previous bishops. It is in the process of being reviewed in the diocese as we continue to move through a time of Change. It is sound and in force, but through the past years,we rely on conversation, counsel, communication and committment as we work together to create unity in every congregation and parish.
The Bishop and Archdeacon have made their cell numbers available to everyone, and we are thankful for each and every conversation with our clergy and people.
If you have any questions please contact the Bishop or Archdeacon.
