Privacy Policy
ResumeEditor.online is a product of Cello Jeremy Digital ("ResumeEditor," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy applies when you visit or use resumeeditor.online.
Information you type into the editor, such as your name, contact details, employment history, education, skills, and professional summary, is stored locally in your browser for autosave. We do not require you to upload this information to an account.
We use browser storage to remember your draft, interface preferences, a randomly generated device identifier, and—after a verified purchase—a signed premium entitlement token. Clearing browser data may erase these items.
When you purchase premium access, PayPal processes your payment credentials under PayPal's own terms and privacy practices. We receive transaction status and identifiers needed to verify the $1 purchase; we do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. On free access, Google AdSense may use cookies, browser storage, IP address, device information, and activity data to deliver, limit, and measure ads, subject to your consent choices and Google's policies. The AdSense advertising script is loaded only after this browser is checked and is not loaded when a valid premium entitlement is confirmed. If premium is unlocked during a visit, existing ad placements are disabled and the next page load remains ad-free.
Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request logs, and security signals to deliver and protect the website.
Provide the resume editor and local autosave.
Verify PayPal orders and unlock premium features on the purchasing device.
Measure website usage and, for free access, support advertising.
Maintain security, prevent fraud, diagnose errors, and improve performance.
Respond when you voluntarily contact us.
Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, advertise, and operate the website, including Google for analytics and free-tier advertising, and by PayPal for payments. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users, rights, or the service.
Your local resume draft remains until you replace it, delete it, clear site data, or use browser controls to remove it. Payment records may be retained by PayPal and by us to the extent necessary for transaction verification, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, and legal compliance. Google may retain analytics and advertising information according to its own policies and your settings.
You may use the editor without creating an account, export a local project backup, remove local data through browser settings, decline a premium purchase, and use available consent and ad privacy controls. Browser privacy settings may limit local autosave, device recognition, analytics, or advertising.
We use reasonable safeguards, including server-side payment verification and signed device entitlement tokens. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should keep exported resume files and devices protected.
The service is not directed to children under the age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child submitted personal information inappropriately, contact us.
The service may be accessed globally. Data processed by service providers may be handled in countries with different laws. We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date on this page.
Questions about privacy can be submitted through the official Cello Jeremy Digital contact form.
Terms Of Service
ResumeEditor provides browser-based tools for creating, editing, reviewing, and exporting resumes. Features and templates may change as we improve the product.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. You may use the service for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not misuse the service, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected payment or entitlement mechanisms, distribute malicious code, or use the website to violate another person's rights.
ResumeEditor does not require sign-up. Drafts, settings, and premium entitlement are primarily stored on the device and browser you use. You are responsible for maintaining backups. Clearing browser data, reinstalling the browser, using private browsing, or changing devices may remove drafts or premium access.
Thirty templates are available free of charge and free access may include advertising. A one-time payment of $1 USD unlocks 220 additional premium templates, designated premium features, and an ad-free experience on the purchasing device after its premium entitlement is verified. Premium is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
Payments are processed by PayPal. Prices and taxes, if any, are shown before approval. Because premium digital access is supplied immediately after a verified payment, purchases are generally final except where applicable law requires otherwise or where a confirmed technical failure prevents delivery. Contact us with the PayPal order details if you believe a payment was duplicated or access was not delivered.
You retain ownership of resume content you enter. You represent that you have the right to use the content and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for a resume.
The website, branding, software, templates, visual systems, and other product materials are owned by Cello Jeremy Digital or its licensors. You may use exported resumes for personal and professional applications. You may not resell, redistribute, clone, or offer the templates or application as a competing standalone product.
ResumeEditor is a productivity and design tool. We do not guarantee interviews, employment, applicant tracking system results, income, or career outcomes. Resume scores and suggestions are general guidance and should be reviewed by the user.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every browser, or error-free exports. You are responsible for checking the final document before using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cello Jeremy Digital will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, loss of data, missed opportunities, or reliance on resume suggestions. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the claim period.
We may restrict abusive or unlawful use and may modify or discontinue features. You may stop using the service at any time and remove local data using your browser controls.
These terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding mandatory consumer rights in your location. Questions may be submitted through the official contact form.
