Graduate from the Police Academy in Bucharest, Bogdan has 17 years of diverse police experience, with a career started in forensics and further on built on international relations and strategic and operational planning of missions.
Having very good organizational skills, with a keen eye for details, Bogdan Ioniță developed high standards of working with others, being an excellent team member and a dialogue facilitator. Experienced in international cooperation, he took part in two missions, one under the aegis of the United Nations (Haiti) and one under the aegis of the OSCE (Ukraine), where he proved his skills in police reporting, technical development and coordination of operations.
Fluent in both English and French, and capable to communicate freely in other languages, he is also a trainer for the courses organized within the framework of international missions.
Bogdan is co-founder of the Civilian Deployable Capability (CDC Romania) and its President since May 2018.
Within CDC Romania, alongside with the team, Bogdan contributes to the general policy of the association, promotes strategies, ensuring the coordination of the projects assumed by CDC. He is also responsible for the administrative capacity of the association, being a facilitator for the new actions and approaches, in respect to the objectives of Cvilian Deployable Capabilities (CDC Romania).
As President of CDC Romania, Bogdan Ioniță coordinates the activity of the members of the association and also the international relations activities - by establishing and maintaining the relations with national and international partners. Nevertheless, he is the organizer and coordinator of the electoral monitoring activities performed by CDC Romania.
