This is what I heard back from DC Central Kitchen - I looks like we might have a match on October 12:
Our standard volunteer shifts are: Daily (7 days a week) 9am – 12pm, Monday and Friday afternoons 2pm-4pm, and Tuesday-Thursday evenings 6pm-8pm. Each volunteer will also need to digitally sign a General Liability and Waiver form which is available in our Volunteer Portal after creating a profile.
The volunteer shifts typically maxes out at 30-35 volunteers. All volunteers must be at least 12 years of age to volunteer. You can view all of the shifts that we have available by going to our website.
Our volunteers help produce up to 16,000 meals that contribute to feeding senior citizens, communities, Children, and Grocery stores. Our food prep shift consists of preparing, packing meals, and chopping fruits/vegetables.
We have the following shifts available below:
September 21: 2pm - 4pm shift
October 5: 2pm - 4pm shift
October 12: 9am - 12pm shift

Dress Code:
1. Long pants (no leggings, no shorts)
2. Closed toe shoes
3. No tank or halter tops, no dresses
4. Hair must be up and out of face. (We will provide hair nets.)
5. Masks are not required; however, they will be available for those who would prefer to wear them.
Parking Options/ Transportation: Our address is 2121 First Street SW, 20024 located in the Buzzard Point neighborhood behind the Audi field. Our front entrance is on V St between First and 2nd St.
We are located closest to Waterfront Metro Station (Green Line). There is a Circuit shuttle that runs every 15 minutes between Waterfront Metro and our facility Monday through Friday between 6:30am - 9:30am, and 3:30pm – 6:30pm.
