Day 4: 6/9/2025 - Cindy and Joyce

Hi everyone! It's day 4 of our stay at YWAM! Here's a timestamp of our day:

7:30am - 8:30am ~ Breakfast: We had English muffins with eggs with lots of cheese and hashbrowns. 

8:30am - 9:00am ~ We played a classic YWAM gamed called Captain's Orders, which is following the commands of a staff member to be the last one standing without breaking any of the orders. We got to top 10!

9:00am - 9:30am ~ We had our morning devotional, and we learned that God's love is unconditional, and it was all God's mercy and grace that we are saved, not by anything we do.

9:30am - 10am ~ After devo, we went to morning worship (Phenomena and To the End of the Earth!) it was very hype and reflected the Passion Play from last night. We also watched a video from Homes of Hope (the house building organization) - very touching.

10am - 10:45am ~ Gathered our stuff and drove for 1 hour to the house building site！

10:45am - 5pm ~ We unloaded all the supplies and materials for the house and we separated into three teams: Framing, Roofing, and Painting. We did a prayer for the family and got to work. After working for 2 hours, we had a lunch break which consisted of ham and cheese sandwiches, coca-cola, chips, and rice krispies! We got back to work after lunch, and we finished putting up all four walls as well as painting them. We said our goodbyes to the family and loaded up our stuff to head back to base. 

5pm - 5:30pm ~ On the bus drive back to base, the boys (not Elijah though) were shouting about who should shower first and how much time each person would get. 

5:30pm - 6pm ~ A bunch of us took showers and changed to head to KBBQ for team night!!

6pm - 8pm ~ At KBBQ, all of us ordered lots of food and here are some pictures of them!

8pm - 9pm ~ We had a "little" situation regarding the payment, but we got it figured out and headed back for team bonding.

9pm - 10pm ~ Since we didn't have a night session, me (Cindy), James, and Elijah led an improv CCICTV worship night with our church people! We did Praise, More Like Jesus, Come to the Altar, Run to the Father, Happy Day, and Promises (6 songs!), it was very heartfelt and a wonderful way to continue to praise God!
