Swimming Lessons occur at Arthur Beach on the north side of Arthur Island in Cognashene.
Swimming occurs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 10:00 am to 12:15 pm. Each lesson runs for 30 minutes. There will be an additional lesson for any campers in Bronze on Tuesday afternoon.
Swimming lessons are delivered through the Lifesaving Society of Canada. Programs for Parent & Tot, Pre-school, Swimmer and Lifesaving/Bronze will be offered.

10:00 am - 10:30 am Preschool 3 & 4 , Swimmer 5 & 6
10:30 am - 11:00 am Preschool 1 & 2, Swimmer 3 & 4
11:00 am - 11:30 am Parent & Tot, Swimmer 1 & 2
11:30 am - 12:15 pm Rookie, Ranger, Star & Bronze

Lifesaving Society Swimming Guides:
(parents will be expected to be in the water with the camper for Parent & Tot classes)
Campers who meet the requirements to enroll in the Bronze courses are encouraged to do so. An exam WILL take place (if there is demand) in the last week of the Rec Program. (Specific date TBD).
Campers who enroll in the Bronze program MUST be present for swimming lessons for a minimum of 6 weeks in the summer to qualify / be prepared for the exam. They must also be present for the last week of the summer program to attend the exam.
An additional swimming lesson for the Bronze levels will take place on Tuesday afternoons at Arthur Beach.
There is an exam $45.00 fee for all Bronze Swimming lessons.
