We are pleased to offer a Cottage Emergency Preparedness Training Day designed specifically for the needs of Georgian Bay cottagers. This practical, hands-on training will include:
CPR & AED Training
Recognize and respond to cardiac emergencies.
Perform high-quality CPR
Learn how to safely and confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Gain the skills to respond until professional help arrives.
Portable Fire Pump Training
Learn how to properly set up, start, and operate a portable fire pump.
Practice deploying hoses and protecting your cottage in the event of a fire.
Review maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
Understand how early action can help limit property damage while waiting for firefighters.
No previous experience is required, and participants of all skill levels are welcome. We encourage families to attend together so that more people are prepared to respond during an emergency.
