セントラル・カンファレンス（CC）とは？ / WHAT IS CENTRAL CONFERENCE (CC)?
セントラルカンファレンスはアメリカ中西部の日本語を話すクリスチャンの成長と励まし、ネットワーク作りを目的とし、JCFNの協力の下で開催している修養会です。毎年、世代を超えて多くの方々が参加され、また、地域の枠も中西部を超えて、南部や東部と北米各地域にネットワークが広がっています。
例年通り参加者の興味に合わせたトピックでのワークショップなどを企画しております。各集会では同時通訳もありますので、英語を話される方も大歓迎です！クリスチャンの信仰に関心のある方や聖書の教えに興味のある方も、どうぞご参加下さい。
Central Conference is a conference held in cooperation with an organization called JCFN (Japanese Christian Fellowship Network) for the purpose of growth, encouragement, and networking of Japanese-speaking Christians in the Midwest. People of all ages attend, and the network extends beyond the Midwest to all of North America. Simultaneous interpretation will be available at each meeting, so English speakers are welcome! Those who are interested in the Christian faith and the teachings of the Bible are also welcome to attend.

「それは、聖徒たちを整えて奉仕の働きをさせ、キリストのからだを建て上げるためであり、ついに、私たちがみな、信仰の一致と神の御子に関する知識の一致とに達し、完全に大人になって、

CCの目的 / PURPOSE OF CC
＊日本語を話すクリスチャンが、キリストにあって一つとなり、神様の家族として、語り合い、祈り合い、励 まし合う、憩いの場所です。
＊キリストの愛のうちに、一人一人の個性と賜物が大切にされ、主の栄光のために用いられる場所です。
＊みことば、奉仕、交わりを通して、霊的な成長を助け、共に豊かないのちを育み、キリストの似姿へと変えられる場所です。
＊セントラルカンファレンスでの祝福と成長とネットワークが、参加された方の家庭、教会と地域で、御国の前進のために用いられていく事を祈り願っています。
Central Conference is...
1) A place where Japanese-speaking Christians can be united in Christ as God's family, talking, praying, and encouraging each other.
2) A place where each person's individuality and gifts are valued and used for the glory of the Lord in the love of Christ.
3) A place where through the Word, service, and fellowship, we can help each other grow spiritually and be transformed into the likeness of Christ.
4) We hope and pray that the blessings, growth, and networking at Central Conference will be used to advance the Kingdom in the homes, churches, and communities of those who attend.

岡谷 優 / Yu Okaya
1. 出身は栃木県。現在はDeerfield Illinois。
2. データで残っているものがほとんどだけど、いろんな人や家族との思い出の写真やビデオ。当たり前のことかもしれないけど過ぎていく時間は元に戻らない。写真やビデオを通して神様が出会わせてくださった人や導いてくださった出来事を目で見て思い返すことができるから。
3. 以前働いていた会社の上司と同僚、高校の同級生。
4. CCの全てを通して皆さんと共に父なる神様を賛美し、主の御名を誉めたたえることを心から楽しみにしてます！今一度立ち止まって、自分自身の心を見つめ、どこにむかっていったらいいのか、一緒に祈り、考え、もがき、賛美し、明け渡し、リフレッシュしましょー！

2. Videos and photos with my friends and family are my treasure even though most of them are digital. This may be completely normal, but you can't go back in time. I can reminisce on people who God sent to me and events God led me to by looking at the photos and videos with my own eyes.
3. My former supervisor and colleagues from the company I used to work at.
4. I'm really looking forward to praise our heavenly Father and the name of our Lord together throughout CC! Let us pause for a second, reflect on yourself, pray for direction together, think, struggle, worship, surrender and get recharged!
