Thank you for checking out our annual report for this school year! This report is meant to provide some data and other information to help highlight how students have been utilizing their school library at each site. It is a nice way to summarize what has been yet another busy school year. Some of this data will inform what decisions we make in the future to better meet the needs of our students and staff.
As always, I encourage you to contact me if you have questions or suggestions related to our district library services program. Thanks again for taking the time to review this report!
The goal of the Library Services Department of Carlisle Community Schools is to provide resources to students, teachers, and families that support teaching and learning with the goal of positively impacting student achievement.
The Library Services Department supports the district's focus on character, service, and excellence in everything we do. More specifically, we support the district's four primary strategic goals, which include:
Ensuring high levels of learning for each our of students and providing multiple opportunities to prepare them for success in their chosen pathways after graduation.
Fostering a positive culture committed to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all members of the school community.
Collaborating with parents and the school community to promote high levels of learning and a quality learning environment for all students.
Committing to collaborative practices where educators work interdependently to analyze the impact of professional practices in order to improve the collective results of all members of the learning community.
