Tee-Off Rules
Groups may only tee off when (1) all players in the group are at the tee and ready to play, and (2) players on the hole are out of range for the group teeing off.
Groups should tee off according to their tee time. Groups may tee of early if the group with the prior tee time has already teed off and there is no back-up on the tee.
Groups arriving early will have to wait for their tee time if there is a back-up at the tee. See the Rules for Back-ups.
Rules for Back-ups:
Because starting tee times can be booked for hole 1 of the Public Course or Hole 10 of the Public Course, back-ups can occur at either tee when groups are “making the turn”. The following rules are intended to eliminate confusion and conflicts when back-ups occur.
Groups must be in line with all players present and ready to go to be eligible to tee off.
Groups starting their round and groups making the turn should alternate based on their arrival at the tee.
Groups arriving early to start their round need to wait for their tee time to tee off. It’s possible that more than one group “making the turn” may tee off before the group that arrived early for their tee time.
Groups arriving late for their tee time cannot move to the front of the line, but must alternate with groups making the turn.
Example - Below is a simple example that conveys the intent of alternating groups when there is a back-up:
