Astaka / Cliff Cafe

Cliff Cafe or Astaka Bukit Bendera is a three-storey food and beverage centre in Penang Hill. The two higher levels houses the food court, with food stalls on the upper level and souvenir stalls and drinks stalls on the lower level.

Kopi Hutan

The highest cafe in Penang. Tucked away in Penang famous tourist spot, Monkey Cup Garden at Penang Hill. Kopi Hutan is about 730 meters above sea level, according to the owner, which so happens to be the highest cafe in Penang.

Bukit Genting Hill Leisure Park & Restaurant

Also known by the locals as “Little Genting,” the restaurant has been around for over 20 years. Thai food lovers will fall head over heels with this place as they offer an extensive menu, featuring many Thai classics. The best part is, you’ll get to enjoy a plethora of lip-smacking Thai dishes while overlooking the scenic skyline of Penang.

Kim Laksa Balik Pulau

First started in the 1940s, Kim Laksa serves one of the best Assam Laksa in Balik Pulau. This is the only food stall inside Nan Guang Kopitiam (南光). They servie Laksa that comes with a generous amount of mackerel fish meat with flavourful soup that draws the regulars to come back for more.

Long Beach Cafe

A popular hawkers market located in beachfront district Batu Ferringhi, away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown. Long Beach Café offers dozens of flavor-packed meals that won't break the bank. The Jetty Food Court is located in the Heritage Zone, where the Clan Jetties of Penang are nearby. This is the reason why the food court is always packed with locals and also visitors . They have over 30 stalls for you to go with the local Penang Food to Western Food and more.

Siam Road Char Koay Teow

The 79 years old uncle is still working his magic every day at the stall.Despite all the fame, Uncle Tan still fires the wok on his own each day for two hours. He has been frying each plate over the blazing charcoal wok. This is a secret to a simple plate of flat rice noodles that has all the essential elements; bean sprouts, eggs, cockles, shrimps, and Chinese Sausages.

Air Itam Asam Laksa

Air Itam Laksa has long been a favourite among many locals and tourists since it was established back in 1955. It's a 66 year old gem that's close to the hearts of many. This is why when in Air Itam, the laksa is one spot that you definitely need to visit.

Him Heang Tau Sar Piah

Air Itam Sister Curry Mee
