Penang Hill is a hill resort comprising a group of peaks on Penang Island, Malaysia. It is located in Air Itam, 6 kilometres west of the city centre of George Town. Built since the year 1891, Kek Lok Si Temple situated in the island of Penang, Malaysia, is one of the largest and finest temples complexes in Southeast Asia.
With millions of magnificent images of Buddha and hundreds of beautiful meaningful carvings, sculptures and murals in the interior and exterior of the temple halls, pagodas and archways, Kek Lok Si Temple is not just a center for Chinese culture and Buddha teaching, but also an unique heritage treasures that have Mahayana Buddhism and traditional Chinese rituals blend into a harmonious whole, in temple architecture and daily activities of worshipers.
The pagoda is the icon of Penang, which structure is known as the pagoda of Ten Thousand Buddhas with 10,000 alabaster and bronze statues of Buddha. It is a seven-storey structure that is a union of three cultures, namely Chinese, Thai and Burmese.
A 30.2m bronze statue of the Kuan Yin "Goddess of Mercy". It is the tallest Guanyin statue in the world. It is sheltered by a huge Chinese-styled roof supported by 16 pillars.
The Tortoise Liberation Pond, also called the Tortoise Pond. This remain one of the main attraction of Kek Lok Si Temple from early days. There are easily hundreds of tortoise in the pond. Visitor can buy water convolvulus from vendor nearby to feed to tortoise.

Penang War Museum is reputed to be the largest war museum in South East Asia. Strategically located on top of the Batu Maung Hill on the south-east of the island, the Penang War Museum was initially a military fortress designed by the British in the 1930s. The 19.36 acres military fortress has a magnificent 320-degree view of the sea around the island, to defend the Straits of Malacca from Japanese attack coming from the South channel.

Countryside Stables Penang is a place where visitors can enjoy riding horses and get close to nature. It is home to 28 horses which consists of miniature horses, Pure Bred Arabian Horses, Polo Pony, Thai, Myanmar, Malaysian ponies, donkeys and deer.

Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm is a large butterfly enclave with about 15,000 butterflies, dragonflies, and fireflies. Within Entopia lies two worlds; The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery centre. Over 150 species of fauna and more than 200 species of flora are being showcased throughout Entopia’s entire exhibition.
The Natureland is a living garden vivarium for a variety of animals from invertebrates and reptiles living in their re-created natural habitat. The living garden features more than 200 species of plants with waterfalls, ponds, caves and other artistic garden features. It contains with approximately 15,000 free-flying butterflies at any one time consisting of up to 60 species.
The Cocoon features two floors of learning exhibition and indoor activities. This indoor discovery centre is designed to let visitors self-explore the world of invertebrates through various interactive edu-stations. The entire Cocoon itself is also a state-of-the-art facility where the visitor experience is enhanced by technology guided interpretations.

Fort Cornwallis happens to be both the largest and oldest fort in Malaysia, and is one of the primary reasons why George Town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was built by the British in 1810 to protect Penang Island. Now, Fort Cornwallis has become an open-air arena, historical exhibitions, art galleries and handicrafts, and souvenirs center.

Pinang Peranakan Mansion, the typical home of a rich Baba of a century ago is recreated to offer a glimpse of their opulent lifestyle and of their many customs and traditions. With over 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles of the era on display, this Baba-Nyonya museum is also housed in one of Penang’s heritage mansion of eclectic design and architecture. Having survived the many decades of neglect and decay, the mansion has now been restored to its former glory of a stately home.

Chew Jetty is one of the six wooden Clan Jetties in George Town on Penang. These jetties feature buildings and are currently inhabited by members of Penang’s Chinese immigrant community. The popularity of Chew Jetty grew when it became one of the mural sites for Ernest Zacharevic's 'Mirrors George Town' project that was in conjunction with George Town Festival 2012.
