2020

Who knew we'd be dealing with COVID. During the pandemic we moved to ZOOM for our meetings. We tried to keep up with our members via Facebook and help where we could. I made 730 masks for people. People donated food, clothing, and money.

Several members of our group participated in the Black Lives Matter march in Carrollton. It was the largest march in the city's history. We masked up, we showed up, and we stood up. Several members of the city council and the mayor spoke supportively at the event. I was very proud to be there. I was worried about the pandemic but I had to be there. It wasn't something I would have wanted to miss.
