Our forums are always lively. This year was no different as the candidates tried to dance around the question of protecting our rights, marriages, and families. Most seemed to think that Carrollton was in a bubble of equality and happiness.

During the election, Steve Babick won his seat on the city council, Place 6. But Place 2 saw a race between tea-party candidate Anthony Wilder, and Young Sung, a leader of the Korean community. Our city has a sizeable Pan-Asian community with extensive business ties to the city. The following letter was written by "W". The open racism is just standard operating procedure for our city. In the letter he we couldn't elect a Korean because then we might elect a gay person someday and "Wouldn't gay Bob McCranie love that"
