As a teacher, I work at building bridges of understanding, and do my best to function as a guide, when working with my students. I work to instill in my lessons, my teaching begins with a strong base of generativity, vibrancy, and residue, to make as much of an impact on my students learning as I am able.
As an innovative leader, I realize that this lesson is not a one size fits all approach to teaching students horn, that in fact this is one of many ways to approach teaching an instrument. I know that this will forever be a living, breathing document, that in one way or another will change its from school to school , and most importantly from student to student. With this, the core focus of the lesson will be, how to be implement a minds-on, hands-on approach, crafted to tailor each student as best as I am able. This is where I can function as the students guide and work with them, creating generativity, vibrancy, and residue, in which I strive to teach.
