About the game
Karma was made back in 2020 as a submission to a game Jam that i never really was able to upload it under.
But even if the game Jam existed or not, the whole month of January succeeded in teaching me the basics of level design, game design, programming and animation for the game.
The game is my first published title, while I worked on other games in the past, they never made it anywhere.
This game serves to show where it all started, how little I knew about game development and much I still needed to study and master.
Gameplay Loop
The theme was karma, and I had an interesting idea of you as a rowdy angel, had gotten on Gods final nerve and needed to be punished for your frankly awful attitude and ideas.
You as the angel were sent down the cosmic food chain, going lower and lower in your reincarnation of entities until you would restart the cycle as an angel
This is a puzzle game, not a very difficult one, but some of them will leave you scratching your head for one reason or another. Be it confusion or simply forgetting to read the UI tip before it vanished.
Lessons learnt during the development process.
I learnt how to use the basics of Unity and C#. This game is old but its still a good frame of referrence to have knowing this is where i started.
