👉 The Reflective Project is a key part of the CP
👉 Requiring 50 hours of work over time
👉 It's all about diving deep into a research question, honing those research, thinking, writing, and communication skills
👉 This project zooms in on an ethical dilemma related to your career studies, giving you the chance to explore and analyze it in an essay up to 3000 words
👉 Or, if you prefer, you can mix it up with a shorter essay between 1500-2000 words plus another format such as:
A short film (7 min)
A spoken presentation (7 min)
An interview (7 min)
A play (7 min)
A display (15 annotated images, 700 words)
👉 Alongside your project, there's the RPPF, where you reflect on your journey in up to three pieces, each maxing out at 1000 words
👉 Your work is assessed based on both the process and the final product, with five criteria in mind:
A. Focus and Method
B. Knowledge and Understanding
C. Critical Thinking
D. Communication
E. Engagement and Reflection
👉 Your supervisor marks the RP, but the IB also steps in to moderate externally, taking a sample depending on how many students are in your cohort.
