Hi,
I'm Edrea Martin and I'm an MLIS Student at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, currently based out of Concord, North Carolina. I am currently a part-time Library Assistant for the Cabarrus County Public Library and I am excited to say that this is my final semester in the program. I previously studied Textile Design at the Rhode Island School of Design 2022 and believe that library practices and fabric/ textile studio practices are aligned. I am inspired by this, and am encouraged to pursue special librarianship, preferably in an arts context.
I was exposed to archival and conservation spaces belonging to the RISD Museum and Fleet Library in Providence, Rhode Island.
