Site Your Apiary

We will help you decide on the optimal location on your rooftop, courtyard, site, or other suitable location. We will work with you to situate your hive to suit your needs and those of your bees.

If you don’t have anywhere to put a hive you can have us place a hive in your name at one of our apiaries, you can sponsor a school or public garden hive.

We Install Your Bees

Our standard package includes all required hive equipment including a handcrafted pine beehive.

We deliver everything to your (or your client’s) site and set it all up. We supply and install the honeybee colony and provide the bees with any support they may require to thrive until our next visit.

We Manage Your Bees

Our beekeepers will visit on a routine basis. We visit the bees in response to their needs. How often we visit the bees depends on hive condition, time of year, and other factors. You will be notified ahead of time, the day in which to expect your beekeeper.

Updates will be sent to you (or your clients) after each visit, regarding the status of the hive, the strength of the colony, and any disease or issue that we may have found.

Harvest Your Sweet Rewards

whether your interest is data, honey, or environmental impact you can reap the sweet rewards.

However as early as the second year the hives will usually produce a surplus of honey that will need to be removed.

Honey harvesting can be done in a few different ways. You have the option of processing your own frames, in which case the beekeeper will harvest the frames from the hive and leave them in a safe (bee free) place for you to extract. If you would rather have us process the honey for you, there is a modest processing fee or a 50/50 split.

You can also have us jar and label it too.

Safe

In our bee breeding programs we empirically evaluate our bees for gentleness. Our hives extremely safe and the instance of stings very unlikely.

Insured

We have a full insurance policy and can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) easily.

Experienced

Our beekeepers are trained to work safely in densely populated urban areas.
