A long-term temporary resident visa was launched by CIC in November 2011 for those who want to visit a Canadian citizen or permanent resident child or grandchild. Parents and grandparents may enter Canada for up to two years with a single or multiple-entry super visa.
Requirements for Super Visa:
Child / Grandchild MUST be a Permanent Resident / Citizen of Canada.
The sponsor MUST meet the Low-Income Requirements.
Private medical insurance from a Canadian Company for one year.
